Sports Sunglasses

When enjoying outdoor sports sunglasses must have special prerequisites. The sports  sunglasses must be shatterproof and must have impact-resistant lenses. Also a strap is typically used to keep sunglasses in place during any athletic activity.

Water sunglasses and water eyewear can be adapted especially to your particular sport. In addition to sport sunglasses features, any water sunglasses should have increased buoyancy to stop them from sinking if they are knocked off.

Water glasses also often have vents or other methods to eliminate lenses from fogging. While body boarding, jet skiing, kayaking, kite boarding, surfing, water skiing, or windsurfing be sure to wear glasses to protect your eyes.

At high altitudes while mountain climbing or traveling across glaciers and snowfields better eye protection is necessary because sunlight and ultraviolet radiation is more intense.

Snow and ice reflect additional light. Popular glasses for these sporting activities are called glacier glasses or goggles. These glasses and goggles have the distinctive quality of very dark round lenses and leather blinders at the sides. Wear glacier eyewear to protect your eyes by blocking ultraviolet rays around the edges of the lenses.
