Sports Sunglasses

When enjoying outdoor sports sunglasses must have special prerequisites. The sports  sunglasses must be shatterproof and must have impact-resistant lenses. Also a strap is typically used to keep sunglasses in place during any athletic activity.

Water sunglasses and water eyewear can be adapted especially to your particular sport. In addition to sport sunglasses features, any water sunglasses should have increased buoyancy to stop them from sinking if they are knocked off.

Water glasses also often have vents or other methods to eliminate lenses from fogging. While body boarding, jet skiing, kayaking, kite boarding, surfing, water skiing, or windsurfing be sure to wear glasses to protect your eyes.

At high altitudes while mountain climbing or traveling across glaciers and snowfields better eye protection is necessary because sunlight and ultraviolet radiation is more intense.

Snow and ice reflect additional light. Popular glasses for these sporting activities are called glacier glasses or goggles. These glasses and goggles have the distinctive quality of very dark round lenses and leather blinders at the sides. Wear glacier eyewear to protect your eyes by blocking ultraviolet rays around the edges of the lenses.

EYE PROTECTION

Blame blurred vision for the failure to complete TMC research and to augment regularly to this blogger platform. It became necessary to return to hospital to seek advanced treatments. My opthomologist has recommended advanced surgery for this disorder.

Dr. Kibou Masako had given me early warning detection of cataracts in both eyes. Cataracts is a medical condition in which the lens of the eye becomes progressively opaque, resulting in blurred vision. It's fortunate that I wear prescription glasses which enables me to visit the eye hospital regularly.

Corrective surgery was opted for based on the standing authority of a long term professional relationship I've had with Masako Sensei. Today medical management becomes vitally important with a full range of treatment options. Take advantage of the services available through EYE PROTECTION to protect your eyes while I regain my sight. Accept our appreciation and ext/

Protect Your Eyes

Several months ago the superintendent of the housing complex we own explained why residents don't speak with us. We were told they were afraid us because we wore sunglasses when we went outdoors.

Bu...Gu! We wear sunglasses to protect our eyes and the surrounding skin from exposure to ultraviolet radiation. People too often think of sunglasses as just a fashion statement for summer. Most of what we perceive through our senses comes from sight so we believe sight is the most important sense. When you understand that ultra violet radiation damage is cumulative, then it may not be too late to begin protecting your eyes.

The American Optometric Association listed these five tips to prevent eye damage:
1. Wear protective eyewear any time your eyes are exposed to ultraviolet light, even on cloudy days and during winter.
2. Look for sunglasses that offer good protection. Sunglasses should block out 99 to 100 percent of both UV-A and UB-B radiation and screen out 75 to 90 percent of visible light.
3. Check to make sure your sunglass lenses are perfectly matched in color and free of distortion and imperfection.
4. Purchase gray lenses. They reduce light intensity without altering the color of objects, providing natural color vision.
5. Remember protection for children and teenagers who typically spend more time in the sun than adults.

It may surprise you we wear sunglasses at night in order to avoid the glare from the ultra bright luminescent headlamps on newer motor vehicles and all those dynamic neon illuminated signs cutting through urban neighborhoods. However the most important benefit of sunglasses is to protect your eyes and the skin around them from the sun.
